DRYINC® Aluminium
A key advantage of the Scanmetals process is the recovered aluminium is not exposed to water at any time thus limiting any losses due to oxidation and maximising metal yield. In addition, due to the concentration effect of the EfW incineration process (Rule of thumb: 100,000 tonnes of household and municipal waste treated in an EfW facility generates approximately 1.4 tonnes of aluminium) the resulting chemical specification of the recovered aluminium is relatively stable and consistent.
